HELLO!
I’m Niamh (neeve) I’m a Menswear/Unisex designer based in Manchester UK.
I have a degree in Fashion Design & Technology: Menswear- specialised in denim from Manchester Fashion Institute (MFI)
In my final year of study I showed my work in Shanghai for the IFFTI 2018 Design Competition and won the Lenzing Sustainable Denim Prize at Graduate Fashion Week 2018.
I’m very much inspired by the details in our surroundings so I’m usually seen taking pictures of walls doors and floors.
I don’t consider myself a fully “Sustainable Designer” because personally I don’t think the word sustainable means what it’s used for a lot of the time now. I try to make positive choices in every aspect of my work wether that be in organic fabrics, ethical manufacture or designing functional clothing that lasts.
I’m currently working towards my MA in Fashion & Business at MFI. I am also part of the Nola Manchester team and working as a freelance designer.
